About Land Heritage
Part of Land Heritage’s mission is to explore new ways of linking people with the land by promoting Community Supported Agriculture schemes as well as Farmer’s Markets to help re-establish the vital partnership between producer and consumer.
Land Heritage also has an educational role introducing children to the culture of the living working countryside as personified by the small farmer and smallholder. This educational role also extends to farmers themselves as well as the general public, promoting the advantages of organic food with environmental conservation and providing advice and encouragement for those who contemplate the change from conventional to organic farming.
