Chitcombe Farm
Chitcombe Farm was acquired by the Trust in 1985 together with Easterdown Farm. Both farms are sited on the Brendon Hills in Somerset and at one time has been farmed as a single unit. Chitcombe is the larger of the two at 87 acres and has a picturesque listed farmhouse. The farm is stocked with sheep and cattle and has some higher fields suitable for arable cultivation. It has been farmed organically for about 40 years.
