Schools Education
We offer curriculum linked farm based activities across the key stages, delivered by our education team who are qualified teachers,
rural science and environmental experts. They work with you to plan your visit to suit your needs and best complement your classroom activities.
So whether you are a primary or secondary school teacher, or a college rural studies or environmental group, one of our team will be on hand
to plan and lead your visit.
In addition to the natural resources of the farm, we offer a purpose built heated classroom within the middle of the farm
complex and a 'portable classroom', or overnight accomodation, our specially made Mongolian style yurt which can be pitched anywhere on the farm,
although its siting by the river is most popoular.
'The day was excellent from start to finish. I especially liked the way activities were tailored to our particular needs... the
children were planning their next trip on the bus on the way home!'
'The children learned about food chains and environments and saw how food starts and the process of what they eat. They loved making bread!'
